January 7, 2010 - AF arrives, the miscarriage is complete
January 5, 2010 - Results of D&C are normal. Get labs for anticoagulants, lupus and thrombophilia panel
December 2, 2010 - D&C, sent for karyotyping
December 1, 2010 - Second ultrasound confirms no heartbeat; beta 67,000+; Progesterone 6 (hmm, that's a 'bit' low)
November 24, 2010 - Ultrasound shows a fetus at 8 weeks but no heartbeat
November 23, 2010 - Beta is 61,368 What? We are told that the IVF cycle actually worked and we are 8 1/2 weeks pregnant.
November - 22, 2010 Positive pregnancy test!!!!! We believed that we conceived on our own.
November 2010 - taking some time off before moving on to embryo/traditional adoption and continuing to try and pray for a miracle natural BFP. Looking into scheduling Hammer for a urology appointment to see if we are missing something.
October 2010 - Retrieved 7 mature eggs, 4 fertilized normally, transfered 1-10 cell grade 1, 2-8 cell grade 2 *assisted hatching on all, Beta #1 = BFN, unhappy 32 birthday to me.
September 2010 - IVF#4 begins
August 2010 - taking one cycle break between before starting IVF #4
July 2010 - IVF#3 cancelled to IUI = chemical pregnancy.
June 2010 - IVF #3 begins; Happy 6th Anniversary to us!
January 2010 - May 2010 - Hammer starts 4 months of a vitamin regimen, trying naturally and praying for a miracle before IVF #3. TSH = 2.1 (5/11) Happy 31st Birthday to Hammer!
December 2009 - Sperm DNA fragmentation DFI = 48%, anovulatory cycle.
November 2009 - Waiting for my body to heal from our miscarriage.
October 2009 - IVF#2 Retrieved 8 mature eggs, 7 fertilized, transfered 2-8 cell embryos. Result BFP beta #1-24, beta #2-30, beta#3 - 107, beta #4 - 292, beta #5 - 1,358; 6w2d u/s showed no gestational sac. beta #6 - 5,000+; 7w u/s showed small gestational sac 2 weeks behind with no yolk or fetal pole; blighted ovum and medicated miscarriage. Hands down worst 31st birthday ever.
September 2009 - IVF #2 begins!
August 2009 - Taking a month off before IVF #2
July 2009 - IVF #1 Retrieved 6 mature eggs, 3 fertilized, transfered 2, tried to freeze 1 but failed. Results = negative.
June 2009 - Continuing med protocol for IVF#1 in July; Happy 5 year anniversary to us!
May 2009 - IVF #1 begins! BCP started Tuesday 5/26. Happy 30th B-day to Hammer :)
April 2009 - SA with strict morphology at 8.5%, IVF will start in May. Still doing chiropractics and yoga.
March 2009 - Trying Chiropractics until IVF will start either in April or July.
February 2009 - On our own till IVF cycle - IVF consult 2/12; FSH results are in = 4.5 (yeah!)
January 2009 - 5th and final IUI, lefty had a follie!!! SA of 46 million on FertilAid for Men - Best Ever!! But it still didn't work. On to IVF...
December 2008 - au natural due to conflict with cycle day timing, failed
November 2008 - Clomid 50 mg, hcg, and IUI#4, failed
October 2008 - Not so happy 30th B-day to me, End of 6 months, back to RE in Nov
May 2008 - Happy 29th B-day to hubby, trying for 6 months on our own, Marks 2 years trying without even ONE chemical pregnancy.
April 2008 - surgery for endometriosis, found 2 spots: one on right ovary and one on back of uterus, Stage 1
March 2008 - cancelled 4th IUI, did acupuncture only, seeking surgical opinion on endometriosis
February 2008 - 2nd round clomid, HCG trigger, IUI#3, acupuncture, again two eggs on right ovary, left is not participating
January 2008 - Went to RE, 1st round clomid, HCG trigger, IUI#2 “unexplained infertility” trying acupuncture, only had 2 eggs on right ovary
December 2007 - 1st IUI at OB/GYN, failed
October 2007 - Happy 29th Birthday to me, try the ‘vacation technique,’ it’s a lie
September 2007 - Post coital ok, some concern with cervical mucus
July 2007 - Progesterone normal, thyroid normal, normal, normal but not prego! (Except we learned later 2.8 is not a normal TSH for TTC)
June 24, 2007 - SA given the thumbs up! Way to go hubby! (Except we learned later that 26 mill is actually boarder line BAD, should have gone to a RE)
May 2007 - TTC one year, defeated, go to OB/GYN for help, Happy 28th B-day to hubby
January 2007 - Happy New Year Marks 9 months, getting nervous…
